More About Me
I’m a 29-year-old new mom (less than one year), fairly new lawyer (one year since I got my bar results), newish homeowner (we bought our house two years ago), and not-so-newlywed (we’ve been married nearly six years).
Instead of taking a job I don’t like or volunteering for nothing with a non-profit, I’m taking a year off to be with my son, Zeke.
My husband is Jerm (a nickname), and we live in a 1950s ranch on the edge of the Oakland Hills in California. We’re slowly fixing it up and contemplating a kitchen remodel in the near future.
Jerm & I are both native Californians, but I win because I’m 4th generation on my dad’s side. Zeke is the 5th generation of California natives!
I’m interested in parenting, fashion, and home design & improvement. At least those are the types of blogs I read nowadays.
